For 35 years Wilderness Canoe Trips, Inc. has specialized in canoe and kayak rentals down the historic Brandywine River. If you are looking for a relaxing day on this beautiful section of the Brandywine, a gentle ride down this perfectly calm river is the best way to enjoy it. Perfect for families, children, and large groups of people including businesses, youth/church groups, Boy/Girl Scout troops, and schools. We offer canoe, solo and tandem kayak, and tube trips, along with paddles, life jackets, and transportation.We pride ourselves in providing you with a fun-filled day on the Brandywine River. Wilderness Canoe Trips, Inc. also has a full-service retail store with over 150 canoes and kayaks in stock! We carry most major brands offered today. We have a very knowledgable staff that will be willing and able to fit you for the right canoe or kayak to satisfy your paddling needs. Remember, Delaware is the home of TAX-FREE SHOPPING!!We are currently open Monday through Saturday from 10am until 5pm, and Sunday from 10am until 3pm. Our summer hours (Memorial Day through Labor Day), are 9am unti 5pm seven days a week.
