Refund Policy
Weather conditions for outdoor activities change constantly throughout the day. We try to make reasonable predictions on weather conditions every morning at 7:00 before reserved trips are scheduled to depart. However, during the course of the day before our 5pm closing time, numerous changes may occur in local weather conditions. We simply cannot predict these changes in weather conditions.
Therefore, the policy at Wilderness Canoe Trips, Inc. is NOT TO OFFER REFUNDS due to weather conditions during your outdoor activity.

WILDERNESS CANOE TRIPS DOES NOT OFFER CERTIFIED CANOE INSTRUCTION OR LESSONS OF ANY KIND FOR CANOE, KAYAK, AND TUBE TRIPS.

Wilderness Canoe Trips, Inc. is a canoeing, kayaking, and tubing LIVERY operation on the Historic Brandywine River of Delaware and Pennsylvania. Non of the employees of Wilderness Canoe Trips, Inc. are formally trained or certified in any area of the activities we offer. Therefore, Wilderness Canoe Trips, Inc. cannot and will not be held liable for negligence and/or incompetence demonstrated by our patrons.

We suggest that individuals requiring canoe, kayak, or tubing instruction contact a local canoe/kayak club or the American Canoe Association for proper and/or certified instruction.
The staff at Wilderness Canoe Trips, Inc. can help assist you and your party by offering suggestions as to commonly accepted methods for canoeing, kayaking, and tubing on the Brandywine River that have been found to be most successful.

We encourage all of our patrons to consult any of our staff members before attempting to participate in any of the canoeing, kayaking, or tubing activities that Wilderness Canoe Trips, Inc. provides. Our staff will only offer these suggestions to allow our patrons to have an enjoyable and SAFE outing.
