A canoe or kayak trip on the Brandywine can be one of the most relaxing, healthy, and enjoyable ways to spend a few hours or a full day. 
Wilderness Canoe Trips, inc. is a complete service canoe and kayak trip outfitter, with more than 30 years experience in planning and conducting canoe and kayak trips on the Brandywine River. We offer canoes, tandem and solo kayaks along with transportation to and from the river, safety equipment and advice.You can also grab an inner tube and let the river move you on a warm, lazy afternoon when you don't feel like moving a finger.
All you need to do is pick a date, decide if you would like a 2 or 4 hour trip, (canoes and kayaks only; we only have a 2 hour tubing trip), check our rates section for the specific times that the trips leave, CALL US FOR A RESERVATION, and come to our location in Wilmington, DE. WE DO THE REST. We will take you to the river, drop you in for your canoe, kayak, or tubing trip, and pick you up before 5p.m. at our take-out and bring you back to our location. It's that simple! WAIVER FORMS FOR TRIPS:As of Jan. 1st, 2005, we are required to have liability forms for EACH PERSON on an outting. To maximize your time on the water PLEASE print out as many copies of these two forms as you need for EACH PERSON and bring them with you. The forms are in PDF format and are required by the State before we can let you in the water. Please fill out the forms completely, remembering to sign, date, and initial all 5 boxes at the bottom (we will show a short safety video on the day of your trip).
